Mission

The DiversityFIRST™ Coalition serves as a bridge between similarly minded organizations so that they may all combine their strengths and talents to further their mutual goal of true equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Purpose

Our coalition connects community and business leaders in a positive setting to:

• Advocate for diverse representation across a broad spectrum of professions
• Help create equitable access to opportunities
• Support the creation and maintenance of inclusive spaces for people of all backgrounds to thrive
• Be a collective of voices sharing interests and needs to promote awareness of culture, diversity, equity and inclusion in our community
• Encourage dialogue and action around their prioritized needs in the spirit of civic unity and trust
